Why is there no option within their apps? Why is there no clear option in their Billings overview? I mean there isn't going on anything else than the active subscription. But this is something I haven't expected of a company that I pay premium to keep my passwords safe.
#ENPASS IMPORT EWALLET PC#
I've seen a lot of stuff since I bought my first 486 PC in de 90's. But their cancel button is hidden in a submenu of a submenu. It's so easy to subscribe, their apps and the website will show you the way. And then click on the very small "Cancel" link. Oh, I have to click on "Billing settings", a very small link in the billings screen. I can see my active subscription, my due date, all across the whole screen but no way to cancel. They are the big players and all they want now is corporate money.Īnd the worst thing: They use shady business practices.ĭid you ever try to cancel a subscription?įirst I was looking within their apps on iOS and MacOS. They know that their users want a dedicated Mac app. They know that users want to use their own clouds. They are betraying their user base as soon as the big business money is around the corner. The reason I canceled: Agilebits mindset. I know they need constant money inflow and if there is a reason to use this payment model, then with security software.

I got burned several times buying a license and after that they surprisingly announced their new subscription only policy.īUT: With 1Password I was ok with that. I don't use Ulysses anymore, or Fantastical. First of all, I don't like this new subscription trend. I'll open a feature request (if one doesn't exist already) for the ability of the user to Add additional Categories.I canceled my subscription of 1Password two days ago. Kind of like a different view of the same data. Folders can exist but they are merely reference pointers to the actual items contained in the set of Categories. This is different that other products I have worked seems that EVERYTHING (as in every item) must first be assigned to a Category.
#ENPASS IMPORT EWALLET UPDATE#
Update #2: Okay, I think I have an understanding now. However when moving from any Category to any Folder, a Copy function rather than a Move function is performed. Moving items from Folder A to Folder B works fine. Update #1: With further testing it seems that moving items from Category A to Category B works fine. Further Imports just keep piling up in the Import Category creating a bigger and bigger unorganized mess.Īppreciate any help you can offer.would like to find a way to MOVE items into folders, or to be able to specify a target folder when performing the Import (rather than just dumping into the Import Category). I tried syncing, exiting and restarting but nothing changes the behavior. It seems to be simply creating a reference pointer to the item rather than creating a COPY of the Item or reassigning the item(s) to the target folder as desired.
#ENPASS IMPORT EWALLET MANUAL#
This behavior seems different than what is documented in the Manual in regard to Drag&Drop.Īny subsequent attempts to delete the items from the Import Category deletes the item both in Import and in the target folder. The Import process works fine but when I move the Imported items into the target folder from the Import Category, it does not actually MOVE them from "Import" but instead appears to create a copy of the Item in the target folder. My plan was to Import the text file, move the items into a named folder from the Import Category, Delete those items from "Import" and then go on to the next text file Import. txt files, creating a single text file for each eWallet folder. I broke an eWallet Text Export into separate eWallet. I'm importing several hundred items from eWallet and having some difficulty. I'm a new user - really like Enpass so far.
